The MSOE men's golf team will look to continue its successful run in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference with a young squad that is without some of its top golfers last season.

Head coach Joe Meloy knows the course will be tough to remain near the top of the conference. But, with an eight-man roster that features just two seniors, he knows this season will be important going forward.

Meloy does return one of his two all-conference golfers in junior Jacob Phelps. He was second on the team with an average score of 79.57 strokes and posted four top-10 finishes. He has also been named to the all-conference team after each of his first two seasons.

Sophomores Dylen Challe and Eric Fulsaas each return after strong first seasons for the Raiders. Challe was second among the team's rookies with 13 rounds played, averaging 83.31 strokes and posting a low round of 78. Fulsaas played in six rounds over four events and averaged 85.50 strokes

Meloy will get some needed leadership from senior Macon Suckow, who returns as the team's most experienced golfer. His fourth season in the program, he played 10 rounds last season and averaged 88 strokes. He had a career-best average score of 85.38 as a sophomore in 2012-13.

The Raiders also welcome in four new golfers who will look to make an impact right away in senior Aaron Brost and freshmen Kevin Banks, Andrew Ramirez and Reid Rumack.
