MSOE Hitting Leagues Overview
MSOE Baseball is excited to announce our first official winter hitting leagues designed to provide players with a fun and competitive batting practice experience. These leagues emphasize "practicing with a purpose," focusing on executing various hitting skills in a game-like environment. Each player will get the opportunity to learn from and work with our experienced staff to improve their game through instruction and experience. Teams consist of 4 players, with options to register as a team or individually. Individual registrants will be randomly assigned to a team of other individuals. Depending on the number of registrants the number of players per team may be altered.
Age Divisions & Pitching Rules: Leagues are organized by age groups, following standard travel baseball guidelines. Pitching speeds vary by age division, with options for tee work, machine-fed or live pitching.

Game Format & Scoring: Each game consists of a “game-like” format with a specific number of innings, including a bunting inning and situational hitting inning, with players aiming to score points based on their hitting achievements. Unique scoring criteria are established for each round, enhancing competitive play.
League Schedule: The league runs from November 3rd to December 22nd on Sundays, divided into four independent seasons, each culminating in a championship. Specific team scheduling will be released when teams are solidified leading up to the start of the league.
