MINNEAPOLIS - The MSOE men's golf team team finished the three-day Twin Cities Classic with a score of +128 (992) to take 19th at the tournament Saturday through Monday.
The Raiders finished 15 shots back of Carleton College in 18th place, while St. Thomas placed first with a score of +24 (888).
Junior Jacob Phelps led the way, shooting +24 (240) over the tournament to tie for 68th place. Senior Macon Suckow was nine shots bac at +33 and in 91st place.
Freshman Andrew Ramirez and sophomores Dylen Challe and Eric Fulsaas rounded out the team's scoring golfers. Ramirez was three shots back of Suckow in 95th place. Challe shot +39 (255) to tie for 102nd place and Fulsaas shot +40 (256) to tie for 105th.
MSOE is back on the course next weekend, hosting the MSOE Invitational Sunday and Monday at the Grand Geneva Resort.
