SOMERS, Wis. – The MSOE men's golf team took eighth at the Carthage Spring Invitational Tuesday morning at Kenosha Country Club.
The Raiders were in action just one day after wrapping the NACC Championship with 36 holes Monday. On this day, they combined on a score of +65 (345) to finish just one shot out of seventh place in the nine-team field.
Junior Jacob Phelps tied for 16th place as MSOE's top scorer, shooting a +11 (81).
Senior Macon Suckow tied for 32nd at +16 (86) and freshman Andrew Ramirez tied for 39th at +18 (88). Sophomore Eric Fulsaas was another two shots back at +20 (90) and freshman Dylen Challe rounded out the Red & White golfers tied for 44th with a score of +21 (91).
The Raiders are back on the course this weekend, competing at the St. Norbert Invitational Friday and Saturday.
