WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. – Freshman Andrew Ramirez led the way as the MSOE men's golf team took seventh at the St. Norbert Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Royal St. Patrick's Golf Links.
The Raiders finished at +105 (681) for the tournament, shooting 347 on day one and shaving 13 strokes for a day two score of 334.
Ramirez shot +10 (82) in each round to tie for 16th with a two-day score of +20 (164).
Junior Jacob Phelps and sophomore Dylen Challe tied for 27th, both at +27 (171). Phelps rebounded from a 91 Saturday to post MSOE's best round of the weekend Sunday when he carded an 80. Challe opened the tournament Saturday with an 81.
Senior Macon Suckow tied for 33rd to round out the Red & White golfers, finishing at +31 (175). His better round came Saturday when he shot an 82.
The Raiders close out the 2015 season Friday at the North-South Invitational.
