GLENDALE, Wis. – The MSOE baseball caps off a weekend sweep taking down Wisconsin Lutheran College in two high scoring offensive games and holding down the Warrior's offense.

RESULTS
MSOE RAIDERS – 13
Wisconsin Lutheran – 5

MSOE RAIDERS – 12
Wisconsin Lutheran - 0

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Game One
    • After a silent first inning, Wisconsin Lutheran (3-24, 2-14 NACC) struck first in the top of the second but was answered by a Sam Meidenbauer with a two-run triple in the bottom half to take a 2-1 lead. Nolan Wojciechowski stepped in next sending a ball to left field to bring Meidenbauer home on a sacrifice fly. The Warriors added a run in the fourth to work to within one, but the Raiders built up a 6-2 lead with three more runs in the bottom of half.
    • The Warriors continued to cut into their deficit with two runs in the fifth, but the Raiders weren't panicked at all. The Raiders continued to apply pressure and add more insurance runs, finishing out the game scoring seven runs in the final innings as they strung together 22 hits total.
  • Game Two
    • Joseph Teschke got the start in game two but was forced to leave early, bring Ryan Anderson in for most of the game. Anderson pitched as if he was the start going 5.2 and only allowing one hit and four strikeouts to completely shut down the Warriors offense.
    • The Raiders offense started slow with only two runs coming in the first three innings coming from Kyle Labedz with a singling into center field and Blake Hall coming home on a wild pitch. The scoring rally picked up with ten runs in two innings of play, led by AJ Le with four RBIs completely running away allowing Jonathan Runquist to finish off the game early securing the final three outs with a 12-0 win.
