Men's Golf Starts Fall With Top Five Finish

JANESVILLE, Wis.  – MSOE men's golf took to the links for the first time during the 2023-24 season at the Culver's Edgewood College Fall Classic looking to set the tone for the rest of the fall slate. The Raiders were consistent as a team and almost had a freshman take home the individual crown as the Red & White finish in sole possession of fifth place.

RESULT
5th Place (593/+25)

TOP GOLFER
Max Oberweis-Manion took home top honors for the Raiders in his first ever action on the links while wearing the Red & White. He came into the clubhouse after two days and 36 holes at one-under, a score that was a single stroke back of the winner from Dubuque and good for a two-way share of second place. The freshman scored a 70 on day one before turning in a 71 on the second day, good for a two round total of 141.

RAIDER INDIVIDUAL TEAM SCORES WHAT'S ON DECK
The Raiders will be back in action for the single 18-hole round Judson Invitational on Friday, September 8th. They'll tee off from Randall Oaks Golf Course in Dundee, Ill. at 12:00 pm.
