WHEATON, Ill. – The MSOE men's tennis team made the trip to Wheaton as they took on the Thunder. The Raiders would go on to drop their first contest of the new year 8-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Andres Saavedra opened singles action for the Raiders with an impressive win in straight sets (7-6, 6-4) to get the Raiders first victory and team points of the day. Though the Raiders wouldn't see any other wins on the day, Miguel Lopez nearly won his first set in a close 6-4 contest, while Jannik Michaelis also won multiple games in both of his sets.
- The Raiders battled the Thunder but would ultimately fall in all three doubles contests. Lopez and Clark Rue took their opponents to the limit but fell 8-6. Saavedra and Emilio Ulloa came up just short in their match, 8-5.

th at the Racine Indoor Tennis Club in Racine, Wis. The action begins at 12:30.
