KENOSHA, Wis. – The MSOE women's tennis team saw their competition with Carthage cut short on Tuesday due to weather, as the Raiders played only singles against the Firebirds, falling 6-0 in the downpour.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (7-9, 5-4 NACC) played singles first at the request of the Firebirds (12-6) as the Raiders battled through slick playing court conditions but ultimately fell in all six matches, as the rain intensified before doubles competition could get rolling, ending the day early as MSOE fell 6-0.
- Stephania Gonzales played a strong match in the #2 spot, splitting sets (2-6, 7-5) and nearly completing the comeback, but came up just short in the third and tie-breaking set.

The Raiders host their final regular season match-up against North Park university on Monday, April 22
nd at Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wis. The action begins at 6:00PM.
