PLYMOUTH, Wis. – The MSOE baseball team clinched the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Regular Season Title Friday afternoon with a sweep over Lakeland University. The Raiders were taken to extra innings in game one but didn't fault at all to take the win before shutting out the Muskies in game two.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Game One
- Lakeland (7-32, 2-22 NACC) struck first in the bottom of the first with the first run of the game but Tyler Gronert from there on was nearly flawless. However, the Muskies also kept MSOE (25-11, 19-5 NACC) quiet as well until the sixth inning when Kyle Labedz stole home to tie up the game at one. The Raiders took an advantage in the top of the seventh when Blake Hall ran out the double play with home that would be the nail in the coffin, but the Muskies tied things up in the bottom half to force extras.
- After a leadoff double from Micah Overley, Chris Barnes quickly retook the lead for the Raiders singling into centerfield. Jack Shepski, in his first at-bat of the season, put things away blasting a home run over the left field fence for a 5-2 lead. Gronert in the bottom half of the inning worked around a jam to retire his 13th batter of the game on the final out to secure the win for the Raiders in game one.
- Game Two
- The Raiders carried that momentum into game two as Overley doubled into left to score Sam Meidenbauer and Hall for quick 2-0 lead after one. Overley continued to produce runs for the Raiders in the third to score Hall, supplementing Nolan Vincent's dominant performance on the mound as they took a 3-0 lead.
- The Red & White continued to build up their lead with two more runs in the fifth and two more in the seventh. Vincent added ten strikeouts in his six innings of work before Zach Brzezinski finished off the Muskies in the final inning to secure the shutout.
