HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders took two-of-three doubles sets against the Falcons, after dropping the first matchup, MSOE's combination of Miguel Lopez and Clark Rue combined for an 8-3 win over CUW. The Raiders' pairing of Yacine Ferjani and Alex Nakasato continued to be a well-oiled machine, as they brought home an 8-2 win to give the Raiders the 2-1 advantage.
- Lopez and Rue would also deliver singles victories to put the Raiders in striking distance of advancing to the finals. Lopez would be perfect in his 6-0 first set, before fighting back-and-forth win in his second set 6-3. Rue won both his sets 6-1, 6-1, as the Raiders led 4-2 after six matches.
- Jannik Michaelis was the hero of the night for MSOE, as he stepped on the court with a chance to clinch for the Raiders and proceeded to blank his opponent in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Five team points would be enough to punch the Raiders' tickets to the NACC Championship match, as the Raiders look to repeat on top.
