MILWAUKEE, Wis. – MSOE softball hosted the Muskies of Lakeland University on Friday, as the Raiders split their final home stand of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Game One
- The Raiders (17-21, 12-10 NACC) trailed the Muskies (31-7, 18-4 NACC) 1-0 after two and half innings of play, before MSOE went to work at the plate, stay disciplined against one of the top two teams in the conference. After loaded the bases, Jenna Trewyn drew a walk to knot the game up, before Jocelyn Clodi was hit by a pitch to bring Faith Matta across and give the Raiders a 2-1 lead. After another bases loaded walk, this time to Carlee Emery, the Raiders escaped the third inning ahead 3-1.
- MSOE would add two more in the fourth on a single from Caroline Fouras, as Katie Pollock locked in on the mound and shut down the Muskies down the stretch. Pollock finished with seven innings pitched, two strikeouts and one walk. Fouras would knock in another run for the Raiders in the sixth as MSOE took Game 1 with a final score of 7-2.
- Game Two
- The Raiders trailed 3-0 before a rally in the bottom of the third gave MSOE the lead. With the bases loaded, Alyssa Jacobson dropped a single in the left field corner to but the Raiders on the board, before Trewyn crushed a ball down the right field line to clear the bases and give MSOE the 4-3 lead. A Clodi sacrifice fly would give the Raiders a little insurance as the ended the third inning ahead 5-3.
- The Muskies would retake the lead in the fifth after stringing together three base hits, before capitalizing on an MSOE error to go up 6-5. The Raiders would knot things up in the bottom of the inning as Nelson continued to rack up hits, driving a double to left center to score Sadie Gaberell. The Muskies would add three more runs down the stretch, as the Raiders would bring one across in the bottom of the seventh but ultimately come up short.

th as they take on the the Sabres of Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wis. Games start at 3:00PM and 5:00PM.
