MILWAUKEE – MSOE athletic director Bill Massoels has announced that
Renata Schlomann has been elevated to head coach for the men's & women's swimming & diving programs.
"We are excited to have Renata leading our programs" said Massoels. "She has been a part of the program since the beginning and cannot wait to see her spearhead the continued growth of the program."
Schlomann has been with the program since its inception in 2023, serving as an assistant coach. During her first two years, Schlomann coached several all-conference performers competing in the Liberal Arts Conference Championships a season ago, including
Clayton Stewart and
Caleb Brewer finishing as conference champions.
"Coaching the Raiders these past two season has been electric" said Schlomann. "As the new head coach, I am thrilled to continue to grow the program and help each athlete achieve their goals in and out of the pool."
Prior to joining the Raiders, Schlomann was the head coach for Life Time Wisconsin Swim Team in Brookfield from 2020-22 and an assistant for Jayhawk Club in Whitewater from 2016-20.
Schlomann graduated from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2020 with a degree in General Business, competing for the Warhawks all four years. During her career, Schlomann NCAA qualifier and College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-American in the 50-yard freestyle, a six time conference champion, and hold three school records.
