MILWAUKEE – The MSOE Women's Hockey team hosted the Falcons of Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday night, closing out their weekend series with CUW. The Raiders would tie things up after an early Falcon goal, but CUW would run away with a 7-1 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (2-4-0, 2-2-0 NCHA) found themselves behind the Falcons (5-1-0, 4-0-0 NCHA) after CUW recorded the first goal of the game at the 4:19 mark of the first period, taking advantage of the first powerplay opportunity of the game. The Raiders would tie things up at the 15:15 mark, as Kiera Ballweg and MaryFrancis Williams combined to find Emily Reiner for the equalizer. The tie would not hold long, as CUW answered back just 46 seconds later, with MSOE heading to the first intermission trailing 2-1.
- In the second period, the Raiders were unable to capitalize when a game misconduct and five minute penalty were assessed against the Falcons, as CUW tallied two more goals in the second frame, outshooting the Raiders 18-2 across the middle 20 minutes. Before the Raiders comeback could even begin to take shape, the CUW offense continued to connect, recorded three more goals in the first five minutes of the third period as MSOE fell 7-1.
