PLYMOUTH, WIs. – The MSOE men's wrestling team competed in the first-ever NACC Showcase against Concordia University Wisconsin, Lakeland University and Aurora University with the Raiders taking 2
nd after a heartbreaking loss to Aurora.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- vs. Lakeland
- The Raiders were nearly unbeatable against the Muskies, as Jesse Johnson, Alexander Ramirez and Max Sanderfoot kicked off the afternoon with three straight pinfall victories for the Red and White.
- Michael Smith continued the display of dominance for the Raiders with a 18-3 tech fall triumph, followed up by a 10-1 major decision win from Toren Vandenbush.
- Gavin Graham closed the dual against the Muskies out with a lopsided 16-0 tech fall win to secure MSOE's spot in the championship match.
- vs. Aurora
- After a slow start against the Spartans, the Raiders found themselves trailing and in dire need of wins. Smith would begin the Raider comeback as he fought to a 6-2 decision win.
- Vandenbush would add a 10-3 decision to MSOE's total with two bouts left to go, as Jackson Hughes scored a major decision win by a score of 13-3, with the Raiders trailing 20-16. Graham had a chance to power the Red and White to first but fell in a narrow 9-6 decision as MSOE would settle for 2nd place.
