MILWAUKEE – The MSOE Men's Tennis team blew the doors off the Duhawks of Loras College on Saturday afternoon, cruising to victory as they came out victorious in every singles matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders took two of the three doubles matches from the Duhawks, as Andres Saavedra and Joe Chong combined for a 6-4 win to kick off the day. Clark Rue and Miguel Lopez closed out the doubles victories for the Red and White with a 6-1 triumph in the #2 slot.
- In singles, the Raiders were unstoppable as Saavedra, Lopez and Clark matched their doubles wins with victories in singles. Carlos Patino got in on the fun with a win from the #2 singles spot with a 6-3, 6-3 win in straight sets.
- To close out the afternoon, the freshmen would step for the Raiders to secure the shutout as Augusto Yamazaki picked up another win in straight sets for MSOE, 6-1, 6-0. Pedro Mendes was the man of the hour for Raiders, secured the shutout with a thrilling victory in his tiebreaking third set, 7-6, 1-6, 1-0.

The Raiders will head to Jacksonville, Illinois for a matchup with Illinois College on Tuesday, March 18
th. The action is set to begin at 4:00 P.M.
