ELMHURST, Ill. – For the first time in program history, the MSOE women's lacrosse team forced overtime after battling back over Elmhurst University on the road. Despite heading into the extra period with the momentum, the Bluejays came through to take it.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After things were quiet through the beginning portion of the first period, Elmhurst (4-2, 0-0 CCIW) struck first with two goals in the final seven minutes to have the lead heading into the second. MSOE (0-5, 0-0 NACC) made a statement to begin the period, going on a 4-0 run after Ashlyn Bode started things with a man-down goal, to lead 4-3 at the break.
- The Bluejays opened the second half with three straight goals before Chloe Ninmann and Alana Perry each scored of their own to tie up the game at six. The Raiders headed into the fourth period down 7-6 and despite the final period being more of a defensive dual, Bode tied of the game with 3:01 remaining to force overtime. Just a few minutes overtime, the Bluejays sealed it with a goal of their own.

The Raiders will begin a three-game homestand on Tuesday, March 25
th when they welcome Lewis & Clark College from the Pacific Northwest to Viets Field. Action is set to start at 6:00 PM.
