CLERMONT, Fla. – The MSOE softball closed out their time in the Sunshine State on Saturday, dropping a pair of matchups against Hamline University and Luther College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- vs. Hamline
- MSOE (3-9, 0-0 NACC) struck quickly after Jenna O'Donnell singled into right before stealing second with two outs. Jayda Nelson right Into right field to bring O'Donnell home for the quick 1-0 lead. Hamline (8-6, 0-0 MIAC) tied things up with a run in third before taking the lead in the fifth. The Raiders runners on base the final two innings hoping to force extras but couldn't come through.
- vs. Luther
- Luther (9-5, 0-0 American Rivers) didn't waste any time, putting a four spot in the top of the first for the early lead. Nelson cut into the deficit when she drove Emma Smith in from second to make it 4-1. Brynn Timmer limited the damage the rest of the way until the Norse added two more to their cushion to seal it.

The Raiders will head back to Wisconsin and make the cross-state travel to University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Saturday, March 29
th. First pitch is set for 2:00 PM with game two to follow.
