GREEN BAY, Wis. – The MSOE men's cross country team didn't shy away from the Division I competition to start the season, defeating one of them and coming up just 17 points short of the other to finish in second place at the Tom Barry Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Nolan Pinion emerged as the leading Raider from the early pack of four, finishing in third place running 19:03.1 for the 6,000-meter long race.
Sam McPeak was next in for the Raiders in sixth, running 19:15.2, while
Zach Zuzzio and
Kolby Dax finish right in line of each other in 11
th and 12
th place, running 19:25.7 and 19:27.7, respectively.
Ryan Alyassir was the fifth Raider across in 16
th place (19:42.2), while also finishing inside the top 20 was
Patrick Lee in 17
th place, crossing in 19:44.7.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will be idle the next two weekends before heading to Whitewater for the Tom Hoffman Invitational. Start time is set for 10:00 a.m.
