Women's Tennis Shuts Out Cougars in Home Opener

GLENDALE, Wis. - The MSOE women's tennis team hosted their first matches of the 2025-26 season on Saturday morning, as the Raiders breezed to a shutout victory over the Cougars of Concordia University Chicago.

RESULT
Concordia University Chicago Cougars – 0
MSOE RAIDERS – 7

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Raiders easily took the doubles point, as the Cougars captured just two games across the three doubles matches, with the combination of Amelia Segelstrom and Delaney Premeau posting a perfect 6-0 win.
  • Premeau would match her doubles outcome with a 6-0, 6-0 win in straight sets from the #3 singles spot.  Freshman Ana Clara Kamiyama and Junior Emily Gutknecht also posted spotless 6-0, 6-0 wins from the #1 and #6 slots, respectively, as the Raiders breezed past the Cougars virtually uncontested.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will be joined by the Men's Team tomorrow, as all 14 courts at Nicolet High School will be filled with both MSOE teams taking on the Eagles of UW-La Crosse.  The action is set to start at 11:00 A.M.
