GLENDALE, Wis. - The MSOE men's tennis team kicked off the fall portion of their 2025-26 campaign on Sunday afternoon, with the Raiders falling to the UW-La Crosse Eagles as they shake off the rust and gear up for the spring.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders failed to win the point in doubles play as the Eagles took all three matches against the Red and White. Carlos Lopez and Levi Luis Santos nearly came away with a win but came up just short in their 4-6 loss.
- Randy Funez and Carlos Patino would score points for the Raiders with their wins from the #1 and #2 singles slot, respectively. Each would drop their first set, before roaring back in the second, and taking the tie-breaking third set to get the Raiders on the scoreboard.
- Augusto Eiji Yamazaki would nearly join his teammates with a third set tie-breaking win, but the sophomore cam up just short as MSOE fell to UWL in their first tune-up of the fall.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will back in action this Thursday, September 11
th, as they head to Lake Forest College for a clash with the Foresters, set for a 4:00 P.M. start.
