DE PERE, Wis. – The MSOE Women's Hockey team closed out their weekend series against RV St. Norbert College on Saturday afternoon, as the Green Knights pulled off an improbable last second comeback to stun the Raiders.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (8-9-2, 5-5-1 NCHA) and SNC (11-6-2, 8-2-2 NCHA) looked destined to repeat yesterday's contest as both teams were once again deadlocked at 0-0 after the first two periods of regulation. Jenna Kentwould get the start in net for the Raiders, as she finished with 41 saves for the Red and White in spectacular effort in goal. Darby Boughan and Amy MacDonald would each post three blocked shots against SNC, as the Raiders were outshot at a rate of nearly 3:1 against the Green Knights.
- After shutting down a St. Norbert powerplay at the midway point of the third period, MaryFrancis Williams would take advantage of a lapse in the Green Knight defense, scoring unassisted to give MSOE their first lead of the weekend series with 6:13 left to play in the third quarter. The Raiders looked poised to escape with the upset win, but the tides turned with 30 seconds left in the game, as a hitting from behind penalty was assessed against the Raiders, giving SNC a five-minute powerplay. The Green Knights would convert with a second left in regulation, scoring with the two-player advantage to force OT.
- The overtime period would be a brief one, as St. Norbert took the opening faceoff before recording the game-winning goal just 27 seconds into the extra period, stunning the Red and White on the cusp of a massive conference win.
