DE PERE, Wis. – The MSOE swimming & diving teams competed in a double dual against St. Norbert College on Saturday where the men swept both the Green Knights and Ripon College while the women split, defeating the Red Hawks.

MEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Mateo Haeuser kicked off the individual wins, taking the 200-yard IM in 2:02.01. Tanner Hansen and Blake Bubniak finished 2-3 behind him in 2:03.84 and 2:04.20, respectively. Evan Scapanski also led a clean sweep in the 100-yard breaststroke, taking the event in 59.37, with Haeuser in second in 1:00.05 and Bubniak in third in 1:03.29.
- Isaac Urban took the 100-yard butterfly in 53.82, while Caleb Brewer claimed victory in 100-yard freestyle in 48.64. Tyler VanGompel finished in second in the 100-yard backstroke, while Noah Cheng in the distance events took second in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:26.76.
- In the relays, Brewer, Haeuser, VanGompel, and Cameron Conley took the 200-yard medley 1:39.19, while Urban, Hansen, Cheng, and Lucas Geisler finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:31.38.
WOMEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Gabby Schmid grabbed two event wins on the day, first in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.32, and then in the 100-yard freestyle in 57.00. The Raiders 2-3 in the 1,000-yard freestyle as Emma LaPorte finished in 11:54.28 and Jayden Buenemann finished in 12:12.72. Buenemann also finished third in the 200-yard IM in 2:28.26, along with Jocelyn Katte also finishing in third in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:15.17.
- In the relays, Schmid, Kate, Maribelle Moyer, and Kenzie Solberg finished second in the 200-yard medley, while Ava Pike, Anna Baker, Grace Dollevoet, and Ava Sipek finished third in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:52.07.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will head to Kenosha next weekend for the Private College Championship, hosted by Carthage College. Diving events will take place on Friday, January 30
th at 6:00 p.m. with the swimming events will happen on Saturday, January 31
st at 11:00 a.m.
