ADRIAN, Mich. – The MSOE women's lacrosse team opened their season Saturday afternoon as they headed to the other side of Lake Michigan, falling to Adrian College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (0-1, 0-0 NACC) kicked off the game with a bang as Maggie Sanderson struck one past the Adrian (2-0, 0-0 MIAA) goalie to open the season with a 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs answered just 15 seconds, sparking a five goal first quarter. The Bulldogs added seven straight goals in the second quarter before Chloe Ninmann fired one just before the buzzer as the score was 12-2 in favor of the home squad at the break.
- It was all Bulldogs in the third quarter as they extended their lead scoring seven times to lead 19-2. The Bulldogs added one more with 5:50 to while Ninmann added her second goal of the day with just 50 seconds remaining.
