SAUGET, Ill. – The MSOE baseball team kicked off their weekend down in Southern Illinois, having a pair of three runs innings to come back over Westminster College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Westminster (3-6, 0-0 SLIAC) put pressure on MSOE (3-2, 0-0 NACC) early, clearing the bases on a double for a 3-0 lead after the first. The Bluejays added a run in each the second and third to lead 5-0 but Jake Franks started a rally for the Raiders starting a three-run inning to cut it to 5-3 after three.
- Franks once again kicked off a three-run inning for the Raiders, blasting a two run homer to right to tie the game at five. The Raiders took the lead a few batters later as AJ Le brought home Christian Bosque on an RBI groundout to make it 6-5. Riley Kempf tact on an insurance in the sixth, flashing his baserunning skills as he stole home, forcing an error to come around to score. The Bluejays put pressure on adding a run in the seventh, but Max Babich finished things as he struck out the final two batters to seal it.

The Raiders take on Central College tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. before a rematch with the Bluejays later in the day at 4:00 p.m.
