LEXINGTON, Ky. – The MSOE baseball dropped game one against Transylvania University Saturday before game two was called in the top of second due to weather.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Transylvania (5-4, 0-0 HCAC) jumped out quickly, scoring twice in the bottom of the first for the early lead. MSOE (6-4, 0-0 NACC) cut down the deficit in the top of the second as Teo Greco drove in Kyle Mayberry on an RBI single to right to make it 2-1. The Pioneers answered that run in the bottom half, leading 3-1.
- After a pair of scoreless innings, the Raiders cut their deficit back down again after Preston Manthei hit a fly ball deep enough to right to score AJ Le making it 3-2. It was all Pioneers after that, scoring three in the fifth and six in the sixth to end the game early in seven.

The Raiders head back to Sauget, Illinois next weekend, kicking off with Hanover College on Saturday, March 14
th at 10:00 a.m. before taking on #19 University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh later in the day at 4:00 p.m.
