EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The MSOE men's tennis team completed their final tune up before the NACC Tournament on Saturday afternoon, as the Red and White took the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds to the final game of the final match with the Raiders ultimately coming up just short.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders snatched the doubles point from the Blugolds with wins from the #2 and #3 teams in the lineup, taking an early 1-0 lead on Eau Claire. After dropping the first singles match, Carlos Lopez would put the Raiders back in the drivers seat with his 6-3, 6-4 win from the #5 spot in the lineup.
- Carlos Calabuig-Patino would deliver another win in straight sets for the Raiders, posting a 6-1, 6-4 scorecard as the Raiders would be one win more match win away from team victory at 3-1. The Raiders would drop the next two bouts, with Pedro Rezende Mendes holding the Raiders fate in his hands. The sophomore would battle back-and-forth for three marathon sets, going down to the wire in the final games of the third set, but would ultimately fall 6-0, 6-7, 5-7.

The Raiders will await their opponent as they gear up for the semifinal rounds of the NACC Championship. The No. 2 seed Raiders are set to host their next match on Friday, May 2
nd at Elite North Shore in Glendale, Wis. Matches are set to begin at 1:00 P.M.
