LA CROSSE, Wis. –
Jessa Alderman continued her dominance in prep for the 2025 NCAA National Championship on Friday, resetting her school record in the shot put at the MSOE women's track & field team competed at the Uncaged Eagle Open at Wisconsin-La Crosse.
WOMEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Alderman who currently holds the No. 1 mark in the country in the shot put, extended her gap on the field as she surpassed the 15-meter barrier for the first time in her career, going 15.09 meters on her final toss of the night to win the event. Josephine Jacklin finished in fifth in the event, tossing 13.21 meters on her third throw of the night.
- Over on the track, Alexis Dorner ran a new personal best in the 800-meter run, going 2:23.08, improving by .38 which she ran at the 2025 NACC Outdoor Championships. Ella Kwaterski took eighth in the 5,000-meter run, coming across the line in 19:25.10
