Fencing Club teaches interested students the fundamentals of fencing in a safe environment. We strive to uphold the honorable traditions of foil, epee, sabre, and rapier bouts as a means of personal, athletic, intellectual growth in our members and the MSOE community. We work to make fencing accessible to everyone interested, and we will teach and provide equipment for anyone interested in learning more!

Recurring Events

Chessfencing

In collaboration with MSOE's Chess Club is our own take on Chessboxing, a sport intended to challenge both mind and body. This is a new competition that you will not find anywhere else, and both organizations are more than happy to teach interested members in preparation for the final tournament.

Battle of the Boards

In collaboration with MSOE's Campus Life department and MSOE's Art and Design Club is a swordfighting event where your creativity will shine! Participants are tasked with creating their own cardboard weaponry which is judged on their creativity alongside their practicality in the arena. Art and Design Club and Fencing Club take great pride in preparing to unleash their inner selves and have a bit of fun while doing it.
