Hall of Fame Nomination Criteria

Please make sure your nominee fits into one of these categories and meets the stated criteria. You can then proceed to the nomination form linked at the bottom of the page.

Intercollegiate Varsity Athletes: Must meet all four criteria below.

1. Must have been one or more of the following:
   1. All American
   2. All Region/District
   3. All Conference
   4. Team MVP
   5. Multiple Sport "Star"
2. Played a minimum of two (2) seasons in the sport
3. Have graduated from MSOE five (5) or more years ago.*
   (*Please feel free to nominate an athlete who has not met the five-year requirement. We will keep the nomination on file for future induction ceremonies.)
4. Exhibited leadership in athletic participation.

Coaches and Athletic Department Administrators: Must meet all four criteria below.

1. Head coached / administered at MSOE a minimum of four (4) years.
2. Is eligible nine (9) years after their first year at MSOE.*
   (*Please feel free to nominate a coach/administrator who has not met the nine-year requirement. We will keep your nomination on file for future induction ceremonies.)
3. Demonstrated his / her ability to be a true educator to student athletes.
4. Exhibited concern for student athletes both on and off the field.

Honorary Members: Must meet at least one criterion below.

1. Contributed to the MSOE athletic program in an outstanding way.
2. Supportive of some aspect of the athletic program over an extended period of time.
