Coby Moe enters his first season as the pitching coach at MSOE. Coby joins the Raiders’ staff following a five year collegiate playing career making stops at Northwestern University and Western Kentucky University.
During his time at NU Coby helped the Wildcats secure multiple wins over top programs and ranked opponents including South Carolina, Maryland and Iowa. Coby graduated from Northwestern with a Civil Engineering degree following the 2023 season where he played for Coach Santiago.
Following graduation, Coby transferred to Western Kentucky where he led the Hilltoppers with a 0.188 BAA and posted a 2.04 ERA over 17 appearances.Coby pitched for the Tops in wins over 9th ranked Dallas Baptist and Louisville. During his tenure at WKU the Tops reached the conference tournament semifinals, secured the programs most wins in since 2009, finished top 60 in team ERA in the country, and set the single season record for strikeouts by a team in program history (490).
