PLYMOUTH, Wis. – Freshman Michelle Lee (Oak Creek, Wis. / Oak Creek) won her fourth-straight conference match to lead the MSOE women's tennis team Saturday at Lakeland.
Lee's point was the only one for the Raiders (3-11, 3-7 NACC), as they fell to the Muskies (9-2, 7-2 NACC), 8-1.
Lee posted her win at No. 4 singles, claiming the 6-0, 6-2 victory. She has now won her last three NACC singles matches, including at Rockford, Edgewood and against Marian. The win against EC was one of just four points the Eagles have dropped in conference (59-4).
Sophomore Melanie Avery (Bolingbrook, Ill. / Neuqua Valley) nearly tallied another point for MSOE, dropping a hard-fought decision at No. 6 singles, 7-5, 7-5. The match lasted nearly two hours.
The Raiders close out their NACC schedule Tuesday at Alverno.
