Box Score SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – The MSOE men's basketball struggled to get its offense on track, while Lakeland shot 55 percent from the field in handing the Raiders an 88-64 defeat Wednesday evening at Wotzen Gymnasium.
MSOE (13-4, 8-4 NACC) shot just 35.6 percent from the field in the game and saw its school-record five-game road winning streak snapped.
Junior Jeremiah Erdmann scored 13 points to lead the Red and White, as Dylan Jones chipped in 12 points off the bench.
The Muskies (13-4, 9-3 NACC) were led by Justin Ward's double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. James Oshkeshequoam and Kurt Jansen scored 15 points apiece and Joey Burris finished with 13.
MSOE led 25-23 with 7:43 remaining, but Lakeland answered with a 16-2 run and built its lead to 43-32 at halftime. The Raiders were unable to get traction in the second half, as the Muskies continued to pull away down the stretch.
The Raiders return to the court Saturday, hosting Aurora at the Kern Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:15 p.m.
