FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The MSOE men's tennis scored a decisive 9-0 victory over Marian Sunday afternoon at Center Court.
The Raiders (4-9, 2-1 NACC) scored six points without allowing conceding a single game to the Sabres (0-6, 0-6 NACC).
In singles play, the No. 2-6 positions each won their matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Those players were junior Zachary Dam at No. 2, freshman David Gorodetsky at No. 3, freshman John Price in the No. 4 position, senior Reekah Defanian at No. 6 and freshman Steve Smith at No. 6.
Senior Eric Klamrowski also had a strong win at No. 1 singles, winning 6-4, 6-2.
Price and Delfanian added another shutout in doubles play, teaming in the No. 3 position and winning 8-0. Klamrowski and Gorodetsky won at No. 1 doubles 8-2 and a team of Dam and junior Matt Slaughter won at No. 2, 8-2.
MSOE is back in action Tuesday, hosting Concordia Wisconsin at the Lake Park Tennis Courts.
