DUBUQUE, Iowa – Senior Garrett Farin posted the third-straight shutout for the MSOE men's soccer team as it picked up a 1-0 victory over Dubuque Saturday afternoon at Oyen Field.

Junior Brock Shilling scored the game's lone score in the first half as the Raiders (3-1) posted their third-straight victory. The decisive play got started on a long throw-in from junior Logan Andryk. Junior Michael Skow got the ball to Shilling, who finished for his second goal of the season.

At the other end of the field, Farin made five saves and did everything that was asked of him for his second solo shutout of the season. He extended his personal shutout streak to 293:18 by game's end, while the team's scoreless streak is up to 309:52.

The Raiders return to action Tuesday, hosting Beloit at Viets Field. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
