ST. PAUL, Minn. - The MSOE men's tennis team scored a point at No. 2 doubles, but that was all it scored in falling to Bethel 8-1 in its season-opener Friday at Fridley Lifetime Fitness.

The Raiders (0-1) got a win from sophomores John Price and Tom Smith during doubles play, as the duo scored an 8-5 victory over their Royals (1-0) .

MSOE continues its season-opening road trip to the Twin Cities Saturday, playing at Hamline at 7:30 p.m.
