MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced its all-conference team and major awards for the 2025-26 men's tennis season.
Five Raiders received all-conference recognition, as
Randy Funez,
Carlos Lopez,
Miguel Lopez,
Clark Rue and
Augusto Eiji Yamazaki earned honors for the Red and White for their performance on the court.
Both Funez and M. Lopez earned All-NACC for both doubles and singles play this season, with Funez posting a 5-1 record in singles play this season, primarily from the #2 spot in the lineup. M. Lopez posted a 3-3 record as the #1 singles player for the Red and White, earning All-NACC recognition for the 3
rd straight season, earning his third singles and second doubles honors. Funez and M. Lopez were two of eight athletes who received All-NACC recognition for both singles and doubles play this season.
Yamazaki was named to the All-NACC team as the #3 singles player for the Raiders, posting a perfect 6-0 record in conference play, including a 17-7 record in singles play across the entire 25-26 season.
Funez posted a 5-1 doubles record with teammate C. Lopez as the #1 doubles pair for the Red and White, as they were named to the All-NACC teams, joined by the Raiders #2 team of Rue and M. Lopez, who earned all-conference recognition as a team for the second time in three seasons.
The Raiders currently sit 8-11 with a 5-1 conference record. The Raiders will face off against the No. 3 seed St. Norbert Green Knights on Friday, May 1
st in the semifinals of the NACC Tournament. Matches are set to begin at 1:00 P.M. at Elite North Shore in Glendale, Wisconsin.
