LISLE, Ill. – Junior Rachel Lynde had 17 kills and senior Leah Hendricks posted a double-double to lead the MSOE women's volleyball team to a split at the Eagle Classic Saturday on the final day of the 2015 season.

The Raiders (12-18) opened their day with a four-set win over Illinois Tech (13-18), 25-21, 25-20, 18-25, 25-9. They then capped the season with a tough 25-7, 25-13, 25-13 loss to Millikin (22-11), the second of two 20-win opponent at the tournament.

Sophomore Abby Born was named to the Eagle Classic All-Tournament Team.

MSOE hit .221 in downing the Scarlet Hawks. Lynde hit .424 in the match, while Hendricks posted 11 kills, 11 digs and three aces in the match. Junior Sarabeth Haworth finished with 25 digs in the match, as well.

Irena Grauzinis led IIT with 12 kills and Jelena Vujicic had 11.

The Raiders opened the match by hitting .340 in the first set and .256 in the second in building a 2-0 lead. After a tough third set, they limited the Scarlet Hawks to -.114 hitting in the final set to close out the match.

MSOE faced a tougher task when facing the Big Blue in the final match. It managed to attack at a positive percentage in just one set and finished at -.011 for the match with just 13 kills against 14 errors.

The Raiders finished the season at 12-18, matching its 2014 win total as the most wins for the team since 2008.
