Box Score WHITEWATER, Wis. – The MSOE women's soccer team fell to UW-Whitewater 5-0 Saturday afternoon at Fiskum Field.
The Raiders (3-2) fell behind early with a 12th-minute goal by the Warhawks (4-1) and could not catch up. The home team struck for another goal before halftime and then went ahead 3-0 just minutes into the second half.
MSOE was outshot 18-8 in the match, with a pair of keepers making five saves in the match. Junior Sydney Stephens played the first half and sophomore Mary McFee played the second.
Junior Sara Travia led the offensive charge with four shots in the game, including two of the team's three shots on goal.
Brianna Reid scored the game's first two goals and Carly Pottle had two of her own for UWW, which was able to avenge a 2-0 defeat at the hands of MSOE last season.
The Raiders return to action next Thursday vs. Lake Forest.
