Box Score OSHKOSH, Wis. – The MSOE men's soccer team saw its four-game winning streak come to an end with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of UW-Oshkosh Wednesday evening at Keller Field.
The Raiders (4-2) put 11 shots on goal, but was unable to crack the Titans' (4-1-1) defense in being held scoreless for the first time this season.
After neither team scored in the first half, the home team broke the deadlock in the 59th minute for a 1-0 lead. Oshkosh then added an insurance goal exactly nine minutes later.
The MSOE offense generated 15 shots on the night, but Sam Gabrilska stopped eight shots in the match and the Red & White had three shot cleared off the line by the UWO defense. The Titans also finished with 15 shots for the match, with junior Sean Stelter making four saves and the defense around him adding a pair of team saves.
Corner kicks were also 8-3 in favor of the Raiders.
MSOE will look to restart a winning streak Sunday when it hosts Carroll at Viets Field. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
