MILWAUKEE – The MSOE women's tennis team scored a pair of wins in doubles, but managed just one singles point in falling to Marian 6-3 Tuesday afternoon at the McKinley Marina Courts.
The Raiders (4-7, 4-3 NACC) saw their four-match NACC winning streak come to an end at the hands of the Sabres (5-5, 4-4 NACC).
Senior Michelle Roubik and sophomore Carly Grant teamed for a fifth-straight doubles win in the No. 2 position by an 8-5 score. In the No. 3 slot, seniors Brittany Kelley and Melanie Avery scored an 8-2 victory, their fourth-straight as partners.
In singles play, freshman Cali Bonie picked up the win at No. 3, downing her opponent in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.
MSOE returns to action Sunday, traveling to Elmhurst.
