Box Score MILWAUKEE – The MSOE women's volleyball team conceded just 30 points in three sets in sweeping past Beloit 25-9, 25-12, 25-9, Tuesday evening at the Kern Center.
The Raiders (6-1) did not allow the Buccaneers (1-4) to hit above .000 in any set in an efficient victory, limiting the visitors to -.024 hitting on the night.
Freshman Hannah Pekarek had 11 kills, hitting .474 to lead the way, while junior Rachel Lynde finished with seven kills and no errors (.538). Sophomore Abby Born finished with 27 assists and junior Sarabeth Haworth had 14 digs.
MSOE hit .388 as a team after amassing an impressive .579 hitting percentage in the first set. The Red & White notched 12 kills and just one error in the frame. For the match, the Raiders committed just six errors.
Bethany Stavrakas led Beloit with five kills.
The Red & White returns to the court this weekend at the Finlandia Invitational.
