Box Score GLENDALE, Wis. – Senior Tyler Doyle had two hits and two RBIs as the MSOE baseball team fell to Milwaukee 15-6 Tuesday afternoon at Henry Aaron Field.
The Raiders (17-17) played their final non-league game of the season, falling to the Division I Panthers (18-19).
Sophomore Jimmy Carrington also collected two hits, while seniors Tyler Parisi and Casey Magyar scored two times each.
Milwaukee scored first with an unearned run in the first inning, before pushing its lead to 10-0 with a three-run fourth inning and six-run sixth.
MSOE got on the board with a four-run seventh inning, starting with a lead-off single from senior Ryan Miller. After a fly out, junior Jacob Roley followed with a pinch-hit single and Parisi walked to load the bases. Magyar forced in a run with a walk and Roley came in to score on a wild pitch to make it 10-2.
Doyle followed with a walk and McCumber walked to force in another run. Carrington capped the rally with an RBI single to left.
The Panthers pulled back a pair of runs in the bottom half of the frame, before the Raiders scored two more times in the eighth. Parisi and Magyar were hit by pitches in the inning, then moved into scoring position on a wild pitch. Doyle followed with a single to centerfield to drive in the pair.
Once again, the home team responded in the bottom half of the inning, with Milwaukee scoring three more times to cap the scoring.
Sophomore Owen Burnikel (0-1) got the start and threw three-plus innings. He allowed five hits and two earned runs, while striking out one.
The Raiders get back to conference play Saturday, hosting Dominican in a doubleheader Saturday.
