The Inferno would come back to get the second set, but the Raiders bounced back in the third in a big way. They led 9-8 before ending the frame on a decisive 16-4 run.
The score was 9-8 again in the fourth set when a mini 3-0 spurt gave the Red & White some breathing room. The team slowly pulled away to take a 22-15 advantage late. Alverno scored the next three points but MSOE matched that to close out the match.
The Raiders hit .181 in the match against .140 for the Inferno.
MSOE will look to make it two in a row in the league at Wisconsin Lutheran Saturday.
