FOND DU LAC, Wisconsin - Sophomore Katie Clements posted a singles win and the MSOE women's tennis team also scored at No. 1 doubles in a 7-2 defeat against Marian Thursday afternoon at Fond du Lac High School.

The Raiders (4-8, 3-4 NACC) and Sabres (8-5, 6-2 NACC) were playing a match that had been postponed from last month.

Junior Sammy Soeder and freshman Hannah Marron picked up MSOE's first point of the match, scoring an 8-4 win in the top doubles matchup.

Then, in singles play, Clements won for the fifth time in seventh matches. At No. 3 singles, she was a straight-set winner, 6-2, 7-5.

The Raiders return to action Saturday, hosting North Park and UW-Stevens Point in a non-conference doubleheader at Nicolet High School.
