RIVER FOREST, Illinois – The MSOE women's soccer team could not get its offense on track in suffering a 2-0 setback at the hands of Dominican Wednesday afternoon at West Campus Field.

The Raiders (4-7, 1-2 NACC) suffered a third-straight loss, conceding a goal in each half to the preseason NACC favorite Stars (8-2, 3-0 NACC).

Dominican did all of their damage in the minutes before and after halftime, getting on the board in the 43rd minute. The home side doubled its advantage just 1:25 after the intermission.

MSOE was outshot 13-3 in the game, with juniors Abbie Lorenz and Allison Lessila each making two saves in one half of action in goal.

The Raiders return to the field Saturday, hosting Alverno.
