MILWAUKEE – Junior Sammy Soeder put together a terrific match and scored a victory at No. 1 singles to lead the MSOE women's tennis team in action against Edgewood Saturday morning at Lake Park.

The Raiders (0-5, 0-2 NACC) fell to the Eagles (1-2, 1-0 NACC) 8-1 in the match.

Playing against an all-conference player from last season in the top singles position, Soeder won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.

MSOE continues to search for its first win of the season and will do so Saturday when it hosts Wisconsin Lutheran and Alverno in a doubleheader at Nicolet High School.
