HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (11-9, 8-7 NACC) stormed out of the gates early against Concordia Wisconsin (13-7, 12-3 NACC), going on a 12-4 run to start the game. While the Raiders cooled off, they were still able to keep a slight advantage through the midway point of the first half. However, the Falcons would grab their first lead of the evening after one of their eight three's found the bottom of the basket and there was no turning back from there. CUW wrapped up the first frame on a 17-9 run, bringing a ten-point lead into halftime. The Red & White shot well in the second half, exactly 50 percent to be precise, but the Falcons still had the hotter hand. Concordia Wisconsin ran up their lead to 20 points by 10:42 in the second and outscored the Raiders in both points in the paint (46-38) and points off turnovers (17-10) in the contest on their way to victory. CUW locked up a spot in the NACC tournament with the win while the Raiders currently sit in a three way tie for fourth place.
