Box Score DE PERE, Wis. – MSOE men's soccer put a wrap on the road portion of their regular season schedule this evening when they traveled to take on the NACC leading Green Knights of St. Norbert. Both teams had to deal with less-than-ideal weather conditions but it was SNC that came out on top in a 1-0 Raiders loss.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 0
St. Norbert – 1
HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a defensive battle on Wednesday night as MSOE (8-5-3, 6-2-2 NACC) and St. Norbert (11-5-1, 10-1-0 NACC) combined for just seven shots on goal in the contest.
- With so little offense, it goes without saying that scoring was limited. Unfortunately, the lone goal of the evening was scored by the Green Knights in the 18th minute.
- The Raiders took a total of nine shots, six of which came in the second half, but couldn't get anything past the SNC keeper.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders have now lost all three contests between themselves and the Green Knights in a series that was started in 2018.
- MSOE is now in a two-way tie for fourth place with two games remaining in the regular season.
