WAUWATOSA, Wis. – MSOE women's volleyball is NACC tournament bound but had to wrap up their regular season before they get there. The Raiders took care of business, sweeping the day and setting a new team record for wins in a single campaign.

RESULTS
MSOE RAIDERS – 3 (25-25-25)
Mount Mary – 0 (12-9-10)

MSOE RAIDERS – 3 (13-26-25-25)
Wheaton (Ill.) – 1 (25-24-16-22)

HOW IT HAPPENED

• vs. Mount Mary
  • MSOE (21-11, 8-5 NACC) defeated Mount Mary (7-21) for the third time this season with each of the contests ending in the score of 3-0.
  • The Raiders hit .324 as a team and didn't allow MMU to score more than 12 points in a single set.
  • Emma Braun led the way with 10 kills while Bekah Smith had nine digs.
• vs. Wheaton (Ill.)
  • The Red & White had some problems early on against Wheaton (13-16), dropping the first set 25-13.
  • The Raiders battled in the second, hitting .250 and eventually downing the Thunder in extra points via a 26-24 decision.
  • MSOE had 25 combined kills in the third and fourth games to come away with the 3-1 win over Wheaton.

RAIDER REMARKS

• The Raiders two wins today allowed them to pass the 2006 team that went 19-12 for the most wins in a single season.
• MSOE has gone 9-1 in their last ten games against Mount Mary.
• The Red & White's win over Wheaton was their first in the all-time series between the two ballclubs.

WHO'S ON DECK
Now that the regular season is over, the Raiders can now turn their attention to the playoffs. They will open up with a quarterfinal matchup on the road against St. Norbert on Tuesday. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
